Help....Disco 3 full height dog guard
I have just bought a full height dog guard off eBay but there were no fixings (silly me forgot to ask before purchasing!) where can I get them from? Or does anyone know the part numbers for the fixings? Thanks
I suggest you get back to the Vendor, who surely must have them?
I don't think they are available separately, and second-hand they are like hen's teeth.
Good luck

I'm happy to be proved wrong; I'm sure I couldn't get missing fitting for mine some years ago, or maybe my memory is failing & I merely resented paying £70 + for a bag of fittings!

If its genuine Land Rover I have spare brackets but not the knurled bolts, but I'm sure normal bolts would do, if you want then you can have them for the price of P&P

I too had this exact problem.........aquired a full height dog guard from gumtree but the vendor had left the fitting arms and bolts in the now sold D3!
She ended up asking me to take away the guard if i could make a use for it!
You can get a complete fitting kit from LR for around £70 + VAT IIRC. Contact TLO on here for a more accurate price.
If you can get the mounting arms from Peter i think I may have a few of the LR handled bolts laying around somewhere.
Alternatively like someone else said I dont see why you couldn't use normal threaded bolts. The only draw back would be they wouuldn't be as "quick release" as the handled ones. See what you can get and feel free to PM me if you get stuck and i'll see if I can help.
If I remember in the morning I'll have a check what spares I've got in the garage. I do remember helping out another member on here who had lost some brackets but I cant think right now what I had left over From the Factory: '05 Java Black D3 S-spec, Manual, Heated Fr & Rear Seats, Cruise, HK High Line.

I actually have the correct OEM kit that everyone is looking for as a complete untouched kit still in its original packaging... It has all the nuts and arms etc.. This is surplus to requirements as I actually am incredibly lucky to have both a D3 and a D4... I was originally going to swap the dog guard between both cars so ordered another fitting kit... in the end I just purchased another complete dog guard and so have the kit lurking in the garage... Was going to EBay it but if someone wants to offer me £55 plus postage I'll post it onwards.. please pm me and I can arrange.... I am away from until Thursday but can arrange it after that....regards Farmer Chalk...

Here are the brackets I have Postage would be about £6.50
Poppy you would also need to find the top tension bars......
They look like this;

I looked this morning for you, to see what spares I had in the garage.
I have a spare LH one but as I said earlier helped someone out on here a while ago with the RH one so you would need to source that,
I also have 4 of the LR handled bolts (same as the ones in the pictures) spare, you need 8 in total so you would need to find another 4 or use normal bolts.
................or you could buy the complete kit from farmer chalk; its a good discount on what I paid at my local dealer (and they usually give me a discount )
