Mine is square not round
Morning all, so today was meant to be fuel filter day. As the title says. The one iv purchased is a nice normal looking cylinder shaped filter and the one one the can is about 30 years old and is square. Now what? Mods:
LR Chrome mirrors
De-tangoed,
LED rings in front lights,
Hids4u all external leds,
Rears removed,
D4 rear lights with hids4u reverse led,
Clear repeaters,
Side steps,
Mud guards,
Roof Rails - removed,
D4 Modded Grill,
20" stormers with grabbers,
EGR blanked and removed
Next: remap - BAS? Bluefin?

Are you sure you're looking at the fuel filter?
I've seen a lot in my time but never a square fuel filter on a D3, or anything else for that matter. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

30 years, sorta rules out a D3. Both early and late are round, one screws on and the other has barbed fittings. I think your looking at something unrelated.

Possibly but that's rectangular

Hi. Yep it was the cooler. After posting on here had a frantic Google with the serial number on the square ish thing. Anyway changed the filter, it started eventually after a panic then remembered reading about the bleed valve. After filter and air filter change unfortunately still have the same issue. Guess will try lubing the turbo actuator tomorrow.Mods:
