Anyone know what the difference is between the early 05 rrs sat nav roof aerial and the later reg ones 09

There is a significant difference.

I vaguely recall 09 fins aren’t for sat nav
So go earlier.

If you want cheap you could put the item below on the dash board.
Or put the inners in a shark fin, if it happened to be broken

Yeah they are and you have to smash the light to get to or fit the unit as they are bonded on.
That’s why I was after a rrs roof gin they had phone and nav connections.
