Height sensor issues(6pin vs 3pin)

Can any anyone help, so suspension kept playing up, when linked to the iid tool you can see the left front height was jumping up and down and the car kept going into extended mode when tying to go to access mode, so decided to replace both the front height sensors, no issues with the right one but left one keeps pulling a orange light fault with a code C1A03-1C by reading the values it seems that with the new sensor voltage is 0.075v (needs 0.5v plus) so thought might be the wiring, with the new sensors all heights work with no issues but when out opening vehicle door it vents pressure. but if I reinstall the old sensor there is no fault code and the voltage returns back to 3.5-4.75V, and the original faults(with no codes returns) the new sensor was AH223C097-AC so thought it was a dodgy sensor so bought another, same issue, both the sensors purchased are landrover parts. The only thing I can find different is the old one I took off was of the 6pin type and the new are 3 pin(again this didn’t have an issue on the right hand side), also checked the supply voltages on the iid tool and at the switch/connector. Which are fine.
Photos attached of old sensor reading and new sensor.
Anyone got any ideas of what I can try ?
Also as a side question can you lock the suspension at normal height with the iid tool using the build function, will the car perform normally or will it just pull more fault codes

The sensors are left and right handed so make sure you have the right one.

They are also different front and rear.

Have you checked the wiring to the sensor the loom has been known to rub against the chassis and cause issues

Hi globetrotter yes checked left and right and the left is AH223C097-AC also changed the right one with no issues, I also changed the wiring (connector plus three wires on both side) what’s strange is the fault only occurs when the new sensor is installed and I’ve tried 2 genuine parts now, but if I put the old one back on, there is no fault codes and the voltage reappears and fluctuates when I move the arm, with the new ones there is no fluctuation and the voltage remains at 0.075.

Cheers for the suggestion.

For anyone with similar issues , I found my issues with help from this site, the wires leading to pin 1 and pin 5 were the wrong way around, for some reason this didn’t affect the 6pin version of the sensor (why or how I have no idea) but I swapped these and the voltage retuned to the new sensor, thankfully it did not damage the circuits. I’ve not recalibrated yet as numbers are similar. I also removed any previous joints/wiring to the sensor connector back to behind the wheel arch.
Added some photos of some useful information.

Hi Northerdiver1,

Not sure if your screencaps are from a GapIID or another, but can you display a log of the Input Voltage and Output Voltage for each height sensor? With the former you can find them under "full list" of "live readings". If you can this will at least help to identify if its a sensor issue or a wiring loom issue.
