Air reservoir leaking

Hi, just wondering if anyone has patched the air reservoir and what did you use?,
I'm thinking if possible to temporarily patch it up until I can get a new reservoir and the time to fit it

The only way it can be patched up is by welding, after welding it should be pressure tested and stamped with date, pressure and name of person or company who tested it, this iis not only an insurance requirement it is a legal requirement and is enforceable by law should there be an incident, ultimately it will cost more than a new receiver. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

In the grand scheme of Discovery ownership, a new reservoir isn't expensive

Furthermore, if its already perforated, the rest of the tank will be pretty rusty, and will rupture again very shortly

Save yourself the hassle, and just fit a new one... My D3 Build Thread
