Suspension 60a fuse

Hi,

The fuse for my suspension has blown whilst I'm down at Alton Towers, just dropped the kids off. As a last resort ill get the AA out, but I wondered if anyone has a suggestion as where else might have one? I've tried Halfirds BTW.

Cheers

it's probably blown for a reason. So a new one will just blow.

Drive home lower than 50mph if not far.

Is there another one in the fuse box that you can swap over for instance the aircon or another circuit that you dont need

That fuse shouldn't blow unless there's a serious malfunction/short to earth.
Compressor motor or relay perhaps?

Whatever you do be careful, the last thing you want to be doing now is calling a fire brigade!

Hi,
I ended up managing to get home with it then got the AA out. They put a new fuse in and all fine, they've even left me a spare!

Thanks for the replies, would've posted sooner but I came down with something on Sunday night.

Cheers

There was a change from 60a to 70a fuse for the compressor. Check the legs of the old fuse to see if they have overheated or burnt. If so then they were not making a good connection.

I've swapped it now, but I'll see if I have the old one. It's been in for a week now so fingers crossed!
