Can I fit the new transmission control module while I’m waiting for the guy comes to code it to the vehicle ? If i fell into a barrel of tits......i'd come out sucking my thumb

I think you can move it, but it maybe stuck in 3rd gear
If you have a gap iid, you could get gap to make you a file with your vin number in it
