Hi guys - does anybody know who would be able to supply and fit some front seat armrests to my Disco 4 XS such as you find in the HSE model - many thanks

Disco3 is easy as the retained nut is in built to the frame, just find it and bolt the armrest to it.

Disco 4 however, only has the retained nut in the frame if it already has the armrest. You need to find the right sized nut, weld it onto a plate and weld that onto the seat back itself. Not straight forward as you need to remove the seat cover to do that as well.

Thanks Bodsy!
I will try to buy a set and fit... it makes a lot of difference. I really miss it as my Disco 2 had...

You will need the patience of a saint to remove and refit seat leather. It is a Censored of a job. Just my two pence Thumbs Up

you'll need to remove the cover, otherwise you may end up seeing a cut in the leather which will drive you cracked for evermore. Its tidier to remove the seat cover tbh

Anyone done this recently? my drivers seat base stitching has split so if I was getting that fixed, I would consider adding armrests at the same time.
