Reliability
Hi - I was just wondering anyone on here has has trouble free driving/ownership of their Disco. I love mine, probably the nicest car I've owned for comfort etc. I just love driving it on and off road.
I've had beemers and Audis and they were absolutely trouble free. I just get scared reading the horror stories: crank, suspension, oil pump etc. Mine has been really looked after but I do wonder what is gonna fail on it.

Dude - your car is as old as mine. At 16 years of age your guess is just as good as mine as well. Enjoy it for as long as it lasts

If you go on any vehicle specific forum / group, all the chatter is about problems and fixes.
So you'll always get all the bad news, let's face it, if nothing ever went wrong, we wouldn't have a lot to talk about would we? 1994 Defender 300tdi 110 commercial

N5Fav, exactly! What would we write about?

Todays big news, A fly splatted on my windscreen, and it rains.
That means the Disco needs another wash.
Doesn't quite grab the attention does it? 1994 Defender 300tdi 110 commercial

We’ve had three years of trouble free use from ours so far, if something went wrong now I wouldn’t complain.
I do try to look after it well though.
Ps. Still the nicest car I’ve been in.

Thoughts that come to mind
You might think we are biased
We might also be paranoid ( which is understandable )
But you will get good advice
Having said that I have had my LR4 from new 11 years ago
Its the best Landrover I have had Faultmate MSV-2
500,000 plus miles in RR,s and trying for more without breakdowns this time
Gone Lexus RX400h SE
Past Audi A6 avant Qutro
Toyota Supra
Long line of RR's
Had for 40 years but now gone 1935 Daimler and 1937 MG
