Hi all - quick question. Which has more goodies, Landmark or HSE Lux?
Many thanks

In theory the Landmark was simply the runout version of the HSE Lux and had more goodies.
However, as others have reported the Landmark specs changed as various goodies ran out so not all Landmarks are the same but then again not all HSE Lux's are the same either as the original purchaser may have added more goodies over and above what was standard.
Also Landmark came in a more restricted range of colour options.

Same thing pretty much. LM was the runout edition with all the toys but ironically some of the later ones missed a few if the extras when the factory started to run out of bits.

I can’t think of anything that the Landmark had, that the HSE Luxury hadn’t, apart from the option of metallic Angel Delight Butterscotch paint and a few exterior bits painted in black.
Some of the Landmarks did without the HSE Luxury’s diamond cut wheels and made do with the silver HSE ones, while none of the of the Landmarks has the nice perforated leather wheel of the HSE Luxury.
Apart from the aforementioned Angel Delight colour options, there was a very limited range of colours and very few of them ever came with an Almond interior. 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I think at the time the big selling point of the Landmark was that it was some£4000 cheaper then the HSE Luxury that it was based on. There were still options available on both models that did not come as standard. BSM,adaptive cruise, wade sensing ,active rear diff, rear climate etc.

AFAIK rear climate wasn’t available on D4 SDV6 Euro 6 vehicles. Not sure about SCV6.

XXV came with most goodies but it is an EU5 engine and lacks the finesse and 'oooomph' of the MY16 and EU6 engine and that oh so incredible gearbox map in MY16.... Jim

My 2016 late model Landmark has rear air. It also has the diamond cut wheels, and paid extras included protection package, HD pack, adaptive cruise, wheel lock and ebony cargo cover. The fancy paint, etc was no cost it seems. PAGODA

That's a great 2016 spec!
Is that a North American spec before we all start hunting over here?!

Fab - thanks all. Looking at a 16 plate Landmark, 84K miles, £25K. Had been looking for HSE Lux, so this would obviously tick the boxes. Reasonable price?
Thanks

If that's a LR Dealer and comes with used approved warranty and all the other little bits and pieces you get then I'd say about right with maybe some wriggle room for you.
Good spec D4s are strong money at the moment. Jim

Fairly sure the HSE Lux had more options available than the Landmark. (and cost more to boot)
Landmark has a very limited colour palette too. I got basically every option ticked in my 15 plate (2016 Model) D4 HSE Lux, but sadly no option for Rear Air-Con, as it was done away with on the ad-Blue engined discos.
I am constantly surprised the value this thing has held. I literally pulled a "WeBuyAnyCar" quote today and was offered nearly 31k for mine. I am basically at the point where I could private sale for more than I paid for it in 2019! Only having 23k miles on the clock certainly helps. 2016 D4 HSE Lux
