iCarsoft IID - worth buying? |
|
hey folks - does anyone have and use the iCarsoft IID tool? Do I need to spend £400+ or are these units at around £140 any good?

hi,
at first... iCarsoftt is NOT an IID
IID - GAP
where as the first iCarsoft is an diagnostics unit... (maybe with a few tools like key programming i do not know)
the Second (IID is a Land Rover specific programming tool (can do everything, from flashing ecu's with LR firmware, till CCF editing (enabling and install features to your Land rover), with fault code reading also..
you can answer the question yourself.... what do you want and need...
just basic fault reading, with a lot but without ALL the LR specific code's or do you want to be able to do everthing...
i think the last one is a investment to be earned back very quick... and reselling it after use/selling your LR is still 75% or more of the initial investment... Best regards
Harold

He’s got a 06MY D3 he needs an Iid tool, or he soon will
Save your money until you’ve checked you have the “safe” oil pump fitted as you may need it! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
