Bonnet Catches not resetting
Hello forum,
Looking for some advice when I pull the bonnet release the bonnet catches do not reset properly so have to push part of them over with a screwdriver. Has this happened to anyone before?

Easy just adjust the catches with the torque screws there is some adjustments up and down also be careful,as if not shut properly the alarm wil go off even after leaving the car for a few minutes and this can also slowly drain your battery
I had a problem with bonnet catches a while back with the same issue ended up buying two new ones which sorted everything.pete truckle

Some of the time it is down to the catches being full of crud, take them off and give them a good clean with some brake cleaner and a toothbrush

Mine heave needed a god clean and lube from time to time to stop this happening. It can be disconcerting when you realise on the motorway that one corner isn’t properly locked down.

Bonnet cables seize up, keeping the latches stuck open
