Help!
Currently near Bridport in Dorset. Tugging the van down here, trying to overtake and the dreaded F came up on the dash and all power was gone. Pulled over and stopped the car then all was fine until.we needed a bit of power.
I think it might be intercooler hose as this has gone once before (a while ago).
Dies anyone know if a decent independent around Bridport that could sort this fairly quickly?????

It's a bit barren for LR specialists at that end of the county, but to be fair, pretty much all diesel engines have intercoolers and turbo actuators (something else it may be) so it's not necessarily something that needs LR expertise.
Are you staying near Bridport or passing through? Just wondering if the campsite may be able to recommend a trusted local garage. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

If it is the hose, it’s an easy DIY job. Advanced Factors can send you the part to where your staying and 30 mins later you’ll be up and running. There’s a How to guide in wiki.  New Defender L663 110 SE (known as Noddy!)

Just to let you know, Auto Factors did, indeed supply the hose really quickly and I fitted it without problems. However, this didn't seem to make any difference!
It seems that, with a load on the back (towing a heavy caravan), power was lacking when needed (up hill etc.) when the car seems to be doing ok then, suddenly, power dropped and F came up again. I managed to get home ok taking it really easy (annoying those following a little). I had just had a minim service on the car by a local independent where it had an engine flush and fuel treatment (Forte?) and oil change.

What make of Fuel filter did they fit if they changed it, If its a crappy one this could give you your fault.
