New boy needing help with a couple of faults :-) |
|
Hi guys i have just taken delivery of my first D3 it is a56 plate HSE and seems to be in fairly good condition, i do however have a couple of issues if anyone is able to help.
I have a fault code and description
C1A02 Rotary Encoder Stuck In Intermediate Position , cant seem to find much info online ! what is it talking about ?
Also i cant get low range to select, no error messages on screen and no fault code that i can see for this , any ideas ? Tried in Neutral and in Park handbrake on or off foot brake on or off and no difference.
Regards Steve.

I think that the round knob for different drive surfaces.
Try moving it (with engine running) and see if the lights round the knob change.
It could be because of this fault you can't get into low range

Hi all just a quick follow up in case anyone has similar faults and is searching for a answer. I changed the terrain response module with a second hand one and now everything works.
Deep joy.
