| Seat memory button repair |

Hi all... anyone have experience of removing and stripping the seat memory buttons on a D3 ?
On my 2005 SE, when I got it a few months ago I tried the seat memory, but it didn't work, so to be honest I just left it alone. But now my wife has started to use the car, so I wanted to try and get it sorted as she needs a different seat & mirror position.
So yesterday I got to thinking, and realized I only tried it before with button 1 .... so I tried it with button(s) 2 & 3 and it works fine, so the problem must only be with button 1 ??
Now it's actually fine as we have two working positions  But I don't like things that are broken, so I want to remove the button pack and fix it.
Any quick tips on removing it ?
TBH I should have probably done it a couple of weeks ago when I stripped the seat to replace the seat foam cushion.

You may have pulled a connector off when doing seat foam

No, the memory button number 1 didn’t work when I first got the car , but it was the only one I tried until recently . 2005 TDV6 SE Auto
