Suspension fault

Hi, me again!

So, my dico 3 that I purchased 10 days ago shows an intermittant suspension fault. I cant work it out. Did a 300 mile round trip yesterday, fine. Popped to the shop and it came on. If I turn car off it clears it, but then reappears. The warning light is orange, but occasionally turns red. The guy I bought it from sent me to a garage to get it read, but they dont do Land rovers!.

Here are the codes. What do they mean?

Hey Lisa, there are a lot of suspension wizards on the forum but sounds like your compressor being faulty or the air intake filter being blocked. Filter is behind the pull off panel on the left of the boot fixed to the wall by the lights, not ussualy any trouble unless your car has been off road a lot. If it’s the compressor, it’s worth having someone pull off the dryer first to check if the dessicants are ok, over time they absorb too much water and block the air intake, it’s not a service item and people don’t bother changing them every few years, your mechanic can get it off to check without removing the whole compressor, very cheap fix if it’s this (whole dryer on eBay £25) compared to a few hundred for the compressor change most garages will try and get you to do so worth the check first

Did you buy it private or through a dealer?

If it was a dealer take it back and get them to fix it, its under 3 months warranty.

Just a quick possibility here.
I had intermittant suspension problems and the dealer spent £150 of my har earned cash to tell me he couldn't find it!
Anyway, by trawling through the posts on here (thanks guys!), I came to the conclusion that I had a faulty connector to the left rear height sensor. This was sort of confirmed when I put up the off road display and one wheel was way out of level (in reality, it was fine!). So. I did some more research and bought a wiring repair kit and then set out to check it. I had the devils own job trying to disconnect the wiring but, after breaking the outer shield, it came away. As I was tight for time, I tried to repair the outer sleeve using the spare I had bought but broke this too!I therefore sprayed the connectors with Servisol switch cleaner and reassembled pushing the silicon seal in as far as possible. I then silicon sealed the whole lot in.
Since doing this, I have not had the problem come back.
I have since bought another repair kit in readiness for the inevitable!

Not saying this is your problem but it is a great way to start!

So when I bought it, just under 2 weeks ago I asked the guy if he had taken it as a trade in. He said yes.

Now he is saying g he is not a dealer and it was a private sale! I've seen other cars he has for sale and sold on line! Grrr, really annoyed!

I got to amit i buy and sell a few motors each year and im not a trader. Years ago you were allowed to sell 12 motors a year before you had to register as a trader i dont know what the rules are now.

I would look for a reputable independant in your area that can test and repair, otherwise it can be expencive guess work.
Im sure people will be happy to recommend places

I would suggest that you may need a compressor replacement or rebuild

He had the car 1 week, and the ownership doc he gave me had the previous owners details with the sold to a trader slip missing.

The venting gallery fault code could indeed be the air dryer desiccant being old. As I posted a few posts above yours, this is a relatively easy job apart from the one screw on top of the Airdryer...Take off the cover and confirm what compressor you have....

Here is a link to the tutorial I used...
