"I'm only going to have a look." How many times has that been said I wonder? Well, as you have probably already guessed, that which I 'looked' at now sits on my drive. I've taken leave of my D4 which never let me down and drove like a dream, not for the first time though, F2..D3..D4..FFRR..D4 and now a 2017 D5 HSE 3.0. SWMBO thinks I'm mad, as usual, but I know that many of you will understand.
I looked at Mercs (GL/GLS), Porsche Cayenne, X5 etc. but there was only ever one choice. Now I must be off, with my new owner's handbook, to flick some switches and press some buttons!

There seems to be major surge of new D5's in my area, I actually saw 5 within a few yards, usually see one week!
Good luck with your new aquision hope it serves you a well as the D4, can't see why not. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Not even the "I'm only going to look" situation, in 1996 I had lost the locking fuel cap to my D1 300Tdi S, so went to the dealers to buy a new one - came back with a Disco 300Tdi ES auto
Missus wasnt overly impressed
Al Volvo XC90 B5 Plus Dark
Gone - MY18 D5 HSE - Corris on 22's with Black Pack
Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD
