HDC grinding noise
Hello all,
When I engage the HDC on my disco3 HSE, the front end of the car makes an awful grinding noise. As if there was sand in between the brake disks and pads. The system operates the way it should when going down-hill except for the noise. In normal operation the car is absolutely silent. Is this normal or do I have an issue? HDC supposedly only operates the brakes right?
Thanks
Philippe

Yup - sounds horrendous but works! (If you lightly place your foot on the brake pedal you can sometimes feel the vibrations through that.)Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

It's the ABS/terrain control system pulsing the brakes. It's normal

Yep, tried putting my feet on the brake pedale and could feel it pulsating while ABS works its wonders.
Ok, then it is all normal.
Thanks for your help.
