| Does this sound like a fuel pump problem ? |

Maybe someone may be able to tell me if these symptoms are connected, and if they sound like fuel pump..
The Disco has never failed to start,but does seem to turn over longer than what i thought would be normal before it actually fires up.
When it does start, it runs a bit lumpy for maybe 10 seconds, then runs perfectly smooth and quiet.
Drives perfect when driving normally, but when pushed hard, shuts down and goes into limp mode !! turn ignition off and back on and it's fine again.
I've replaced fuel filter and checked actuator is free.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice

Check the intank fuel pressure from the test point at the rear of the engine, should be bearound 5 to 7 psi, if ok then it could be your Hpfp, or the pressure switch on the fuel rail.
