Front shock/airbag rattle |
|
Hello I live in France and drive daily several dirt roads with my 07 discovery 3 .When driving slowly there is a rattle I have changed everything else but shocks and air springs so can they give a rattle.?. No leaks or other problems with them so no need to change them .

Yes my front pads rattle. Not oem. I only hear them at low speed if I have the window open.

As you drive dirt roads, maybe stones up between disk and backing plate

Mine had this rattle especially as I went over a speed bump or small bumps at low speeds. I changed the sway/(ARB) anti roll bar bushings, front and back and it solved my issue. 2005 Land Rover D3, 4.4L V8, Maya Gold Metallic

Bit of a wild one but try and check your steering rack because the nylon buffer that is behind the large cover nut becomes worn and allows the rack gear to wobble and knock
I had this when going over bumps Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)
LR door puddle projectors (10 mins)
Tinted Bonnet wind deflector (10 mins)
All Intercooler pipes and Tbolts (2hrs)
3 injectors replaced so far (30mins)
Sunroof drain pipes both sides 2.5 hrs)
Rear discs, shoes, pads, callipers, flexi hoses, rigid brake line, n/s upper hub carrier bush and rear n/s upper arm (13hrs over 2 days)
