Struggling with d3

Hi guys
After replacing some suspension parts I have a multitude of lights and faults and now have no idea how to sort em
I'll put the pics on the end of this post but the parts I've replaced are front lower wishbone and front hub both on the same side near side.
The motor is new to me and had a bump before I got it
So looking at the icarsoft codes it's a few issues that keep appearing once I start to drive .
Pics are below any sort of lead on sorting this would be good guys .
Regards baz

I would have thought that the first step would be to clear all the codes & see if they reappear when driven.

I believe that you may need to have the tracking adjusted when in "Tight Tolerance Mode".

Good luck

Is the 4x4 screen activated?
I ask as another guy on here used it to recalibrate his steering angle sensor.

They also have a habit of coming loose (sensor located at the bottom of the steering column) try a search on here.

I also think needing to be in tight tolerance mode for alignment is now outdated info?

Hi guys
Yes these are the codes that come back after clearing I drive a short distance and they bring up one by one .
So please forgive me being so clueless on this but it must be in some computer mode or hooked into a diagnostics to set the tracking ?.
Also I have noticed that the height sensors are a bit different to each other some are -8mm some are 15 mm however my cheap machine cannot reset or calibrate the suspension.
Regards Baz

What work was done to it? Have you had a 4 wheel alignment done since the suspension work was completed? (Needs to be 4 wheel alignment, not just tracking)

You may need to recalibrate the steering sensor

bottom wishbone replaced and front hub .
and only aligned it by eye .
Is it that critical to have it aligned up ?
also I have reset the sas but that did nothing for it and isn't throwing up any faults direct to that alone .

yes you have to have a 4 wheel alignment or you will never reset the steering angle sensor it can't be done by eye it could be a few degrees out and that's enough Thumbs Up

OH dear so any recommendations on who to use .
Im starting to regret buying this reading the woes of the suspension faults,
So it can only be the sas thsts the issue if my logic is correct .
So why all the other control module faults etc ?
If you look at the pic of my clocks apart from the srs and seat belt wearing can anyone tell me why these are lit up please .
Regards

I would suggest anyone with Hunter kit, and the ability to put the car into TTM.

Maybe start by looking here:- https://www.alignmycar.co.uk/

Not sure if TTM is LR 'thing' or not but four wheel alignment makes a huge difference to the way the car handles

The four wheel alignment is not specific to LR vehicles, and in over 350k of D3/D4 motoring the suspension has been the least of my troubles!

Don’t read all of the people moaning about suspension problems. Most will be down to people not understanding the requirements for service work, and not setting the car up correctly.

One it’s correct, it’s reliable and is probably the best thing about the D3/D4. However, the D3/D4 is hard on suspension due to weight, so expect mechanical bits to wear. My fronts seem to go every 50k approximately.

You will get lots of other system faults due to everything being linked. It’s very clever, and if something is out of tolerance, it causes faults on other linked systems. I don’t know specifically which errors get thrown up with the D3, but I’m sure someone can answer.

Where are you based in the country? I’m sure someone can recommend somewhere to align the car properly.

Im in Rossendale in Lancashire .
so if a sas fault occurs it can throw up all sorts of different faults that seem unrelated because of the connections to the system is this correct.

Yes!

Can't recommend a four wheel alignment centre near Rossendlale, but for other work Flack is recommended by many on the forum - based in Preston.
