oil pump

i am changing the front timing belt water pump and oil pump and have come to a problem . the oil pump seems to be stuck to the block . i have removed 10 8mm bolts around the edge and 4 long 8mm bolts underneath and it just wont move . what an i doing wrong ?

It is snugg.

There are dowels in the old ones.

Try getting to it at the top

no dowels in this one just a tight fit . i managed to get a philips screwdriver into the allen key plug at the top then gently pry it off. thanks for your help

Use the old tensioner bolt and tighten it with a ratchet till the casing pops off, then using a hyde/soft mallet tap the centre till its sounds hollow, it will jump off then.
