Suspension will not go to off road height

I have a 2005 LR3 that will not go to off road height or lower. The car stays level at the ride height and doesn't seem to loose any air over night, stays level. The compressor is a AMK model and works fine
I've serviced the compressor checked for any leaks with soapy water and all seems good, could it be the Valve blocks or control module ? although the air struts are the original ones they look ok on 170000 miles.
Any ideas please

when I turn the ignition on the compressor kicks in for about a minute then stops. when I push the switch up to off road height the arrow illuminates for about 3 secs then goes off and the amber suspension warning light comes on. The car is at normal ride height and there is no change during this procedure

Could be the switch or the suspension is out of adjustment

Can you go to off road height and then lower to normal ok?- if so it eliminates the exhaust valve being stuck, if not it may be the exhaust valve clogged up. Does it give the traditional fart a few seconds after switching the engine off to self level, again if not it points to the exhaust valve being blocked. located under the near side rear wheel arch. Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I serviced the compressor and that all seemed fine.
The car will only sit and drive in normal ride height.
What I have tried, was to leave the car alone with the fuse out of the suspension ECU and left it for 3 days.
The back end went down 40mm both sides and the front 30mm both sides. When I replaced the fuse and turned the engine on it went straight up to normal ride height quite quickly.
Could it be the valve blocks ?

Funny you should say that !
I had a car run into the side of me and had to have a new front wing and some suspension work
The air suspension was fine when it came back from the garage. It was about 4 months later that it started playing up, so didn't link it to the accident

I don't think its the switch, as you get responses of both lights

I would be looking at wires and connectors on the side that was damaged especially height sensors
