Hi all,
I bought some time ago a D3 SE, 2.7L TDV6 with a seized crank. My plan was to rebuild it.
With the recent events in Europe, I am locked home so I started this project.
I also had the opportunity to buy an engine from a Range Rover Sport. Also a TDV6.
Can I put the engine from the RRS straight into my Disco ?
I am planning to keep only the alternator, since the A/C compresor and the power steering pump stayed in the vehicle to avoid draining the circuits.
My main concern is the HP injection pump. Is it frequency coded to the vehicule ? D3 TDV6 for holidays use,

If they are the same age you should be fine.
If you notice differences with the fueling system you need to keep the fuelling parts together with ecu

Hi Pete,
Congrats' for your responsiveness !
Fueling seems the same. Same injectors, same collectors, same common rail.
I will keep the pump then.
Thanks. D3 TDV6 for holidays use,
