On the 2012-2015 link we see its also the kit for 2016 cars too :

So not sure if marketing or actual different kit from them as the D4 hardware didn't change in those years (software was updated in 2016 yes but hardware e.g. connections to this unit etc did not) Also I had it running in mine on a MY16 D4 hardware media setup as my D4 was upgraded with a transplant from a 66 plate landmark so know 100% it will work on the latest D4's Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Thanks for asking them. It still seems clear as mud though.
For the base unit, linked above, the difference in price between the two base units is 100 auz bucks. Then they still want another 80 auz bucks for steering wheel control module.
Why the difference in the base unit part numbers and price when you still need to buy this steering wheel module? It's a rhetorical question, as I will have to write and inquire myself.
If the 2012-2015 is identical to the 2016 units, why the different part numbers? The module (separate item) should be the only difference?2016 D4 HSE Lux

its hasn't Ian - but as you've got a bali blue its the wrong model year i'm afraid as you need the rotary gear stick for this to work Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
