Headlight power connector (Halogen) |
|
Low priority item by comparison with the mounting list of jobs... but I had to change a headlight bulb at 6am this morning in the dark at speed, outside a friends house, and I broke the plastic assembly which holds the positive/negative terminals. Where can I get another?
Fortunately I had the necessary adjustable spanner to release the neanderthal headlight locking strips in the boot! And spare bulbs...
What was hilarious was my friend saying he was amazed I could change the bulb because he takes his nissan qashqai to the garage when this happens!
Cheers,
Andy

Hi Martin,
Yes the internal one which connects to the back of the H7 bulb. My plan was to find the exact same plastic connector in order to avoid fiddly soldering or crimping. I would hope to press the existing spade fittings into the replacement connector.
Cheers, Andy
