Disco 3 propshaft torque bolts.
Hi. Can any give me some advice about the propshaft torque bolts. Can you only get them from land rover or can you get them from autoparts.

I reused my old ones too... Just give them a good going over with a wire brush and then copper grease them.

I thought i could reuse the ones for the front prop shaft.
I was wrong and they sheared off.
Advanced Factors do them.

I had one shear too, so I thought better of it and bought new ones. Can’t remember where from, but they were Land Rover.Simon.

Quite likely but mine never got any.
Std practice on trucks to reuse prop bolts again, quite often many times.

It was more a comment to suggest that copperslip might not be a great idea if they are meant to be fitted with loctite. Loctite will have the same antiseize effect as copperslip but wont encourage them to undo.
The stupid torx heads are easy to damage if you dont keep the socket dead straight as well (why they didnt use normal bolts is beyond me) so having new ones handy isnt a bad idea.

Yes that is true all torx are a pita male or female, I especially hate the female ones as they always seem to be to shallow, the snap on/irwin tapered bolt remover widgets are brilliant for knackered torx heads, not so good on rusty male ones though.
I have to say i used grease or oil on pretty much anything I put back together and dont hear of anything falling off.
