Hi all- first post on here.
Recently bought a 2009 Disco 3 Xs and has started showing a ESF. Had it to Independent LR specialist and fault code reads absolute boost pressure fault. Investigated turbo which is fine and changed MAP sensor as well as fuel filter. There is no pattern as to when the fault occurs. It can happen after 1 mile of driving or 60. Recently towed 100 miles with no faults at all. Diagnostics have brought up a huge list of possibilities to do with air pressure loss started from the front to the back of the car. No obvious cracks or air leaks on any hoses/manifolds. Starting to wonder whether this could be an electrical fault somewhere and was wondering if anyone had experienced similar problems. LR specialist I’m using has suggested doing a software update as a starting point.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It’s very strange how intermittent the problem is . According to the diagnostic the problem only occurs 10% of the driving time.
Thanks in advance

First step is always get any codes read. Next check age of battery and voltage levels when static and charging.
