I need assistance KENT (Covid 19)
Hi all.
I am trying to organise a food delivery for my Mother in two weeks time (she is OK for a couple of weeks). As it stands I cannot book anything online.
If I placed a collection order from Tesco ( it can be any Tesco) is there anyone who could drop it off in Edenbridge, Kent? I will cover your expenses somehow. Maybe via paypal.

Given the delivery slots are limited, does anyone want to offer capacity within their own slot they could then take to someone else?
Problem will be if slot owner is maxed out on required items.

Farmer Chalk, Has stepped up to help.
I managed to get a delivery booked in last week so my Mum has enough to keep her going for a couple of weeks so we have a bit of breathing space. At least I know that I have away of getting stuff to her.

Delivery slots are non-existant - nothing in the next three weeks.

we are starting to think there arent any.
Not been able to get our usual slot with Sainsburys...so have experimented, just as a note we are rural and always shop online with sainsburys
0000 the new day was add with no slots available, this has been the same now for the last 3 days.Mike

Sainsbury's will struggle the slots come out 3 weeks in advance so the next ones will be for three weeks time and we were struggling with filling our driver slots before this all kicked off now with some drivers going off in self isolation it will be even harder never seen anything so mad before Discovery 3 se gone

My neighbour was talking to their Sainsburys delivery driver who said that the bottleneck wasn't the drivers but that they can't get hold of extra vans at short notice. They're a specific type and you can't just roll up to a van hire place and get one.

They must be the only store that has an abundance of drivers we don’t we have 4 training with us now and yes frailer would not be able to give us many extra vans as we only have a few spares on fleet but they also have to cover any VOR incidents so even if we got the extra vans we could not shop it or have enough delivery drivers so it appears we are starting clock and collect in our store to try and ease the load in the drivers/vans and keep customers as happy as possible Discovery 3 se gone

Still no delivery slots or click and collect slots for the next three weeks in Exeter or Crediton.
