| Cruise control disappeared! |

Hi all,
Yet another fault - they just keep coming at the moment!
Right, so the other day my EPB threw a wobbly (emergency cable pulled, red light illuminated etc) and now the cruise control function appears to be completely absent; nothing works at all; no lights, no speed, nothing. Is this a coincidence or it somehow linked to the EPB? How can the CC be fixed?

When my EPB was playing up, i removed the fuse for it. subsequently i found my CC stopped working.
Put fuse back in and CC returned.
I therefore assume they are linked.

Cruise, park brake and anti stall are all on the same fuse so what you're experiencing is totally normal. Mods:

| Handbrake Cruise Control Failure |

Hi
Two days ago my hand brake would not come on or release on the lever, I got the normal flashing red light and a steady amber which disappeared after the car went to sleep and restarted. lucky I have auto release on my manual D3 so the handbrake comes off when I pull away and comes on when I take the key out of the ignition.
Today my Cruise Control has disappeared could this be related, if so where do I start. I have ordered a new handbrake switch as a first port of call.
