ODM or GKN driveshaft?

Hi

I have a failing CV joint and I am looking at these on the AF site.

As a general rule I try to buy the best parts I can e.g Timken hubs but can I save money here? Is an ODM driveshaft any worse than GKN?

Thanks - my rear prop was GKN. Maybe I just need to spend the money.

I am just hesitating on LHS vs RHS.

I have a LHD car and it is the passenger side that is the problem.

Do I need RHS because hat is relative to when I am in the car, or LHS because it’s that side whenI look at it from the front?

I would hazard a guess regarldess of LHD or RHD all the major running gear is identical.

I would have thought so. Do I require a RHS or LHS driveshaft?

The left hand side or Right hand side of the vehicle is always viewed as sitting in the drivers seat facing forwards. If you need the passenger side it will be a right hand side part
