Scotland 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 S Manual Unknown ColourDiscovery 3
water temp sensor

Got a new temp sensor to fit, old one very tight, do I need to warm up engine first. A little scared of snapping something off. Any hints please Disco 3, 50th V8 90, 127.

Just a quarter turn then remove IIR. Didn't warm engine when i did mine, could also cause burns ??.
