for those of you with at locking diff... |
|
What sound does it make when you first start up and then turn off?
Mine - I can hear the motor actuator whirl once on startup. Twice when I shut down.
It is audible.
Is it supposed to make this noise?

I replaced my motor and it's still making that sound. I've been told that the diff is done because the tension in the clutch was released when someone took out the locating/locking pin.
I'm really not sure...
