Module in rear boot panel?
Afternoon, still learning my way around my D4 but when trying to find the detachable tow bar today I noticed a black box with 3 wires coming out oh the passenger side removal boot panel.
It has a sticky pad which appears to have come loose, I couldn't peel off the pad to get what looked like a part or serial number. There are 3 wires attached and a orange LED which was on, from having a search here could it be the Telestart module?
Its a HSE spec and has the timed climate but when I bought the car it didn't come with the FBH remote fob.

Its not a FBH remote - that is usually in the driver's side rear cubby hole.
Sorry, can't identify what it is Uncle Ray's spare wheel protector
Limo Tint
Blackvue front & rear dashcam
Cruise control switch pack
Bodsy's remote for FBH

There not fibre optic cables .. there fakra connectors .. usually used for antennas

Slightly concerns me that it could be a tracker, I presume from having tracked vehicles in the past that they are normally subscription based so presume it would be redundant if someone stops paying?
I might unplug it tomorrow and see if anything untoward happens...

Funny the fakra connector looks almost like a SC connector from a certain angle

A SC connector is used in certain fiber optic applications. You can google it if you’re curious.
