DISCO 3 DIFFERNTIAL RATIOS
Has anyone had experience of swapping the diff ratios on D3. I have a manual car with 1:3.01 ration diffs but currently run taller tyres so my acceleration and towing is affected. I want to replace both diffs with 1: 3.54 diffs as fitted to AUTO TDV6 cars.
I know it sounds an extreme way to go but I do a bit of off roading but lots of towing so would like to " tune " the car ¬!!!

If you want to go lower, V8's had 3.73's... 8)

I knew that the v8 had even taller gearing - imagine how fast you could get a v8 d3 to go with TDV6 manual diffs!!
I think I may have a problem with my front diff as there is a droning noise - so if I have to swap out the front diff, I thought that would be the time to get for another ratio.
