How many left stats TDV6 S |
|
Quite impressed by this site and that a quick search shows that out of 3,542 TDV6S sold there remain 3,079 taxed and alive. That’s around 86%. Pretty impressive in my view.

Hmm now you got me thinking my maths is wrong. 3079/3542 = 87%. The image shows max production was 3542 as that is highest level of taxed vehicles on road on this exact model, and now there are 3079 still taxed and assumed in use... what’s wrong in this ?

Splitting hairs since you’ve got a manual and I think you searched for manuals but.. there are a bunch of TDV6 S automatics, too, that one should account for

The auto TDV6 S stats are 2845 built and 2464 still taxed. That’s funnily enough 87% also.. you can’t make these things up!
Checked TDV6 HSE auto and that is 87% also.
Checked TDV6 SE auto and that’s 85%
V8 auto 84%

I’m in two minds on buying a D3 with 125k on due to the dreaded crank failure risk. It’s not that common but terminal when it happens. Taking 20 month loan to buy it and if it does half way through I’d be right in the you know what...

I just came across the www.howmanyleft.co.uk website whilst looking for VW information. Fascinating stats, and a way to track the yearly demise of specific vehicles. It is encouraging to see that so many Disco 3's are still in use.
Here is an example group,
