Hi all....ive recently had a whining noise which has been traced to my transfer box😯. I'm thinking rather than replacing with a reconditioned one, I was going to replace with one from a breakers. Can anyone tell me if the transfer box are the same on both manual and automatic disco 3's. The money saved by doing this is phenomenal.....thanks in advance 👍

I note no one has replied was it the case that these are the same for auto and manual gearboxes? Do you find out? Thanks

I wouldn’t put any money on it but I’m sure they are the same, it’s the diff that’s different between the auto and manual. I put a used one on mine, changed the oil and it’s been fine.
