Mystery trailer electrics
Ok so my trailer electrics have never worked since owning the vehicle but it hadn’t bothered me because I didn’t need to tow. But as we will now be using the trailer tent I have decided to check why the trailer electrics weren’t working.
So I find one fuse in the front glovebox missing F6 and two burned out ones on the rear fuse box in the left hand boot fuse box replace all three and the trailer electrics work but parking sensors now not functioning has to be related so some one gave me advice of turning off the the tow hitch (not fitted) in the CCF on gap tool I did that but it’s had no effect.
The code says it’s roght outer sensor that’s not working
Any idea how I can reset the system or is it just coincidence it’s failed I think the fuse was removed because it was causing issuesIf it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should walk away and get a big hammer

sounds just coincidence to me.
you can get ~£10 sensors off ebay
have you disturbed any of the wiring near the rear bumper / light ?

I poked at the plastic wiring that comes out the back of the electrics plugs but it was a poke nothing more wouldn’t be enough to disturb anything.
Can anyone help with how you get a sensor out as I might just replace the sensor but I can’t figure out how it is removed it doesn’t twist or push outIf it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should walk away and get a big hammer

sensor pushes out the rear of the bumper, but there are 2 or 3 prongs that hold it there.

I’ve bust my finger from pushing so much the bumper is bowing under the pressure
If I could get a hammer in there I would 🤔If it moves and it shouldn't duct tape it, if it doesn't move and it should walk away and get a big hammer
