Top up Power Steering fluid?

Hi,

My power steering fluid is a fraction below the min level. What can I top it up with, or does it require a full flush? There's no leeks anywhere I can see

Thanks,

Andy

This is what I use on mine. Same color and spec as OEM. It's worked great.

Not much cheaper than LR cold climate fluid.
But it depends what's available in your country I guess

It's meant to be green.

Have you checked it when it is warm? - the level increases greatly when hot, if only a little under I would not worry unless it has a leak.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Full flush is close to impossible. What you can do is dilute the existing PSF by sucking it out, adding new, moving steering left-right, starting over a few times. I would measure the level with engine warm rather than cold. While LR’s position is that PSF lasts the car’s lifetime, I swapped mine at approximately the 11 year mark.

I’ve used Pentosin CHF 11S as the fluid as it was readily available.

Yeah I think the cooler sitting up high makes it difficult to drain it all out
