Has anybody tried Osram Nightbreaker or Phillips Extreme headlamp bulbs? They claim to be 80-90% brighter and 10% whiter. I tried to get them in Halfrauds but they only had own-brand 50% whiter jobbies.
I can get them on eBay for £20 per pair, but £40 is a lot to shell out if they are not very good. Are they worth the money?[/code]Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.

Re: Brighter Whiter Headlamp Bulbs
Nightbreakers are superb - fitted them to my Dads Santa Fe and it made a huge difference.D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

have a quick search - there is another post about this already.
From my perspective - I thought the Halfrauds ones were just as good when I bought both and compared them with one of each - I couldn't see any difference between them.

Blue bulbs in main beams create a very white light which matches xenons.
Also creates that "undercover cop" look which keeps the outside lane nice and clear for you
What if the "Hokey Cokey" really is what it's all about?
