Fault codes special programmes off

Guys any help would be appreciated.

I have my brothers D3 with abs light special programmes off!,,
Got Iid tool and cleared faults , returned
PO 0500 (2F) vehicle speed sensor A- how do I know which one?

UO40068 (AF) headlight
UO12287 (2F) lost communication with vehicle dynamics control?

Any help would be grateful.

I thought these iid tools would be a little more specific to diagnose issues but that above makes no sense to me.

Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

In relation to the speed sensor

Go to the live values
from memory go to
vehicle dynamics and scroll down to wheel speed and select view
should get a screen like this

and when driven each wheel should give a reading, the faulty one won't.
Quite a simple process to change the sensor.
(around £20 from ECP when on a sale for the Bosch one)

That’s the one.

thank you SR - found it as you typed. Turns out no signal from front right wheel!

Ordered one and will fit tomorrow hopefully this will solve the issue.

Love this forum - excellent and worth more than gold.

Thanks again.
I bow to your knowledge Bow down

Cool, might be worth checking the lead from the sensor in case its worked loose.
In my case the sensor had rubbed against something and wore away as marked
