Turbo actuator problem
My Discovery had been parked up for about a year I sent it the garage
To get it plugged in to clear handbreak fault and know they say it need a new turbo
Because the actuator has ceased up because it’s been parked up for so long is this right or can you just
Replace the actuator

The actuator can be replaced in situ - if you are very 'handy' but try lubricating and freeing it off first, theres a guide on here if you search it....

The actuator can just be seen after removing the battery and battery compartment. I freed it off by using lots of 3 in 1 oil (synthetic) and pushing it back and forth with a very long screw driver and pulling it back with a wire coat hanger ! . No fault since.D4 HSE
