Another suspension fault, Please HELP!! ARGHHHH |

Good morning to you all and hope you had a great Christmas.
I've had an ongoing issue which started with .......
'I bought a 2006 D3 TDV6 as mileage was pretty low for the money but had an orange suspension light on. Took the gamble as car was priced well. He'd had code read and faulty RH front sensor was suspected. Sensor supplied with car.
Code was C1A04 - FRONT RIGHT SENSOR (PERM), GENERAL ELEC. FAILURE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE OUT OF RANGE.
I fitted new sensor and surprise, surprise fault still present ( kind of knew it would be, to be honest!).
Next I started looking at the wires to sensor. One of the wires near the plug had been repaired before and the wire looked blue instead of copper coloured. Was hoping to repair but no solder would take to the wire. I ordered repair loom to replace.
I then tested wires from sensor back to Air Suspension Control Module. I found the 5V supply wire open circuit. All others 0.3 ohms. I then located C2293-C2294 plug in LHS wheel arch and test either side of this to determine if break before or after. When I tested from here all was OK, 0.3 ohms across all, in both directions. May have been poor connection and bad wires at plug??
Refitted everything, replaced sensor plug loom and started up. Fault gone from dash. Started and car went into extended on the rear and FRHS went all the way down. When selecting new height kept returning to extended. Used Nanocom and reset this but then new fault appeared. C1A73 - FRONT RIGHT HEIGHT SENSOR MECHANISM - GENERAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE. Previous codes gone. '
Ive now swapped back to genuine LR sensor and no lights on the dash. I took here for a drive and got about 5 miles and she went down and red suspension light 'do not exceed 30mph'.
I reset on ignition and got a bit nearer home, then again. Loooked at faults with nanocom at the side of the road and started and stopped EAS modes. Managed to get her home and played a bit with height offsets, wrote new and then returned to original. Drove yesterday and nearly made a trip but failed again. I swapped the brake pedal switch with on from Euro and still same issue.

B1C57: Passive start Ignition coil/unused relay (Inter)
U0155: Lost comms with instrument cluster (inter)
Thats the lot. Looking for any help and where to go next. Prefered when i just had amber light, as at least i could use the car!!
Tempted to try height calibration and/or refit new sensor that was supplied with the car. To see it goes back to as before. Some faults may possibly from pedal switch change so hoping someone can give me an indication as to which faults can be dismissed and where to look next.

Try and calibrate the height sensors ,Seems like you’ve covered everything else. I wouldn’t worry too much about those faults,I get them and my disco runs well. Happy new year

Thanks. I'll head there next. Can I recalibrate with nanocom or adjust offset heights?

Yip - Sounds like you nedt to re-calibrate as the system is getting bit confused and goes into 'Red Mode'

It certainly has been a steep learning curve. I've only had her 3 weeks!
Is the calibration using nanocom possible as can only see option to adjust offset values for ride height.

Quick update:
Height settings in nanocom showed 1/12/1/1.
After lots of measuring got it to -1/6/8/10. At this all measures correctly and 40 miles done with no fault. So not wanting to jinx it but hopefully sorted.

Good write up on fault finding DM, I’ll be following this with my MY10 D4 as currently have same fault as in your OP LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
