Hello all, hope you are having a good christmas.
So to question, looks like the LPFP has failed, there is no hum of it working when i initially turn the key, and absolutely nothing comes out of the pressure test point, bone dry.
What i dont know is whether it is the pump that has failed or any component that controls it.
Because it is not working, presumably i cannot check for amp draw ?? The fuse is ok but should i get 12 volts at the fuse? I have swapped the relay.
Would a faulty pressure regulator on the rail cause complete failure? can i bypass this to check?
Have given the fuel tank a good thump
I have read Robbies excellent guide.
Hope someone can help
Andi.

Ideally, you need to access the connectors to check for a good 12v feed and earth at the top of the pump
If you have good power And earth, suspect the pump to have failed My D3 Build Thread

Many thanks for that DM
I believe there are some connectors near the tank, i will check those first, (easiest?)if no power i will check the drivers wheel arch ones, then drop the tank and check the connectors there. Hope that sounds logical.
Can you point me to the correct wire colours for live/negative on the connectors/wires.
Much appreciated,
Andi.
