Fog Lamp Indicators
Had both front and rear fogs on this week, but could only see one indication lamp on the dash to say that they were on.
I thought on the previous D3 there were 2 lamps, 1 front and 1 back (green & orange)

I am sure that there are two indicators on mine (07MY). That is how I relialised that my front fogs were not working.
Dealer sorted it. Required part of the wiring harness to be replaced. Symptom: was blowing fuse after about one minute after switching on front fog lights.
hope this helps.

I thought you had to have indicators by law for fog lights on cars built in the last few years.

Seems to be a commonish problem, happened to my old HSE. Duff wiring.

Seeing as it was all cold and merkey I couldn't be arsed getting out and checking, although thinking about it now, on the old D3 it was pretty obvious when the front fogs were on, even from the inside ! Conclusion is that the front fogs aren't working and I have less brain cells than a Muller fruit corner.Mrs Jones ? We've come for your Liver

If you had a short in the wiring it will happen again!!
Unless they moved / protected the loom from the body member supporting the bumper: it is a rough-edged stamping that saws through the cable.
Andy2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods

Mine shorted too in the middle of a deluge on an Austrian Motorway! Local dealer had no idea. Home dealer replaced the loom.
I was the same - I was SURE that there were two lights one moment, and then only one. At least none of the other electrics went in the process. So another issue still not sorted by MY2007! Any MY2008s had this?

I have an 08 Disco 3, and there are two indicators. However, the first time I tried to use the front fog lights the fuse blew up, so te dealer had to replace it after doing some research on the wiring as well.
