SGS 3 ton trolly jack Don't Buy One
I've sent my SGS 3 ton trolley jack back it's fecking useless and so are SGS it struggled to lift either of mine motors especially at the top of its lift and the pump action was hopeless as well
I had to top the oil up bleed it etc still no use the 2 meshing cogs for lowering it down didn't always mesh imo cheap Chinese crap.
But of course SGS say it works fine for them
Lesson learnt buy cheap get crap

Hate those type of jacks, I used to recondition the old Bradbury and Epco jacks from 60s and 70s, much better lifters , if you can get one cheap I have loads of seal kits etc still doing repairs and services on jacking equipment but I tend to stay away from the Chinese stuff, it's kind of throw away when it needs anything done to it.2006 D3 2.7tdv6 SE Zermatt (6A)

I've got a 30 yo sealy that needs a new seal as it's got a slight leak which still works better than the SGS and a customer donated me a trolly jack that at least 40 yo that's been chucked in a barn but still lifts the D4 & 130 with no issues.
SGS just don't give a stuff about it

Recently purchased a 10T extending bottle jack and axle stands from them and, apart from having to do another trip to get them from Coventry (apparently next day is an intent rather than a pledge) very pleased with them.
Their mail back to me on the courier timing (courier was quite clear they did not receive them the same day as the, well on-time, order) was rather terse, which was disappointing.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Give it time I used mine a handful of times
If I'd have looked into it before and there bad feed back I wouldn't have bothered with them as it is now I will just get the seals done on my old one

What weight rating has the scissor jack supplied with a D3/4 ?
I haven't looked yet (I will when I get access) but wondered if anyone knew if it's stated anywhere or labelled ?BREXIT - done properly.

Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.
Had mine for around four years now, has the spec changed and the quality has gone down

I bought the sealey 3000cxd and it is superb if you are looking for a replacement. I have the sgs compressor and that has worked well for a couple of years now.
