Front air suspension issues....
Hi guys, once again I turn to those in the know rather than The stealers!
I have a 54 plate D3 HSE and about a month ago I started getting the yellow suspension warning light on the dash and the front end of the car would drop but rise again when turning off and on. I ran with this a while until eventually the front end wouldn’t rise at all and the was in off road height. I have a breakdown warranty so took it to a local dealership who diagnosed a knackered compressor and fitted a new one.
This worked for about a day until the light came back on. Took it back to the garage who said it had corroded wiring from the compressor to the front wheel arch, supposedly ran an overlay to fix it.
However.... I am still getting a suspension issue warning after driving for 10mins or so with a fault code reading of “too many pressure changes”. The front end appears to stay up while driving but when parked the front drops. I can hear a dissing from the N/S/F wheel arch so wondered if it was a broken air bag.
I have pulled the suspension fuses under the bonnet to see if the front drops on one side but it doesn’t the front drops evenly, so I am wondering if I have a front valve block isssue?
Any thoughts or sussestions welcome.
Thanks

You've likely identified the cause of the original fault that resulted in the compressor failing. Check the pipe work running to the front valve block, it runs underneath the NSF wheel arch. A spray bottle of soapy water will help identify an air leak.GAP IID Pro Multi Vehicle Defender L316 2007-2015 - Discovery 3 - Discovery 4 - Discovery Sport L550 - Freelander 2 - Range Rover Evoque L538 - Range Rover L322 - Range Rover L405 - Range Rover Sport L320 - Range Rover Sport L494 Electrical Fault Diagnostics
