Timing belt change
Hi guys,
I am looking to buy the timing belt kit for my 2012 D4, and just want to check whether I need to think about changing any other associated parts at the same time?
I will be changing the water pump as well as the belts.
As always....thanks for any advice

Yes the rear belt on D4 is timed and is a lot more invovled than the D3, there is quite a lot more to remove to get to the rear belt on the D4and you need a locking tool.

Thanks Flack. In that case I think I will defer that job to a professional.

The D4 belt takes a little practice but is no worse than the 2.7 belt
The front belt I'd say is worse, as there is much less room to work inMy D3 Build Thread
