Gearbox fault
I have a 2010 d4 HSE with 115k on the clock.
Went to head home after a short 7 mile run and stopped and it came up with gearbox fault, HDC not available system fault. On putting it into gear it very obviously clunked in.
Worried it sounds expensive, not got fault codes, any ideas?
Kind of feel a gearbox flush might be needed or is it likely to be something worse?
Anyone near who can help?

So drove home and it seemed ok, but not great, anyone near Bath that could do a gearbox flush?
Check your battery voltage. It could be low voltage causing the problems on start up.1972 Range Rover Classic 2 door V8

Have booked it into Beckington Motors to see what the score is on Tuesday. Battery is an interesting one as we have had a few 'issues' relating to electrics since we have had the car.

In my case it was a clogged fuel filter. Had run the tank almost dry weeks before.Achim
