Replacing main battery
Have replaced batteries in other vehicles without issue but before I swap out the slowly fading battery in my MY2014TDV6, is there anything I need to do, other than make sure it is left about 15mins before disconnecting?

Hi
I’m under the impression that the later D4 have an AGM battery fitted that should be charged fully before fitting and BMS module reset via diagnostics
Also curious if u have 2 x batteries fitted into ur later model
As a side note personally wouldnt ever buy a battery online again as if there’s an issue it’s very difficult to return , funny enough got a Yuasa HSB019 fitted to my d3 from Halfords and very pleased with it
Plus handy Halfords doing a battery check

I'm considering getting the Varta H3 Silver (I got one last year for my then D3).
It was a pretty straight forward swap to be fair.
Getting it from Tanya batteries - they deliver next day and I've had excellent customer experience from them!
I wonder if that battery supplier are ever going to give up and change their name to TANYA , as that's what every body calls them ?
(Same way the Win Drivers website were quite happy to be Wind Rivers as long as they got the customers).
